for sun that dapples ground and leaf.
For nurture that brings forth blossom and fruit.
For color that snaps brilliant in the breeze.
For the hope awakened that each summer day brings.
For seeing that a simple flower marks the
hand of our Creator God on the land
that we care for each and every day.
