You know it is the 4th of July WHEN:
the flag waves proudly off the front porch,
cherries cluster in a white granite colander,
the youngest sports his finest GBA outfit,
and the purple chaste tree
is in full bloom with the
white sweet autumn clematis
covering the top deck railing.
Oh, Give thanks to the Lord
for this land that we love.
