Spring Rainbow in Washington D.C.

And the return of Spring is an act of love:

"For lo, the winter is past.
The rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth,
The time of singing has come,
And the voice of the turtledove
Is heard in our land.
The fig tree puts forth her green figs,
and the vines with the tender grapes
Give a good smell,
Rise up, my love, my fair one,
And come away!"   Song of Solomon 2: 11-13
Stunning Red bud tree
Front entry display of tulips
Welcome container of tulips
 with red twig dogwood
Love the mix of colors for the tulips

Light and dark hues
And just to get your bearings when  you come out of the
U S  Botanical Gardens
and need to go find your car---
a glimpse up-- will remind you exactly
where you are in our nation's capital

a day to see the rainbow even without the storm
